iPod Touch 1.1.2
Yay. iPod Touch 1.1.2 update finally makes it possible to add events to the calendar from the wee beastie. The iPhone is out in the UK now but I still can’t fathom paying £35 for 18 months — I just don’t talk on the phone that much. I have to agree with the nay-sayers who think Apple will not repeat its success in the UK as long the phone is so expensive and locked to O2. The iPod Touch, on the other hand, is a delicious little device, free of contract handcuffs, and if you have wifi handy it’s just as capable. Well, almost. One thing lacking is a note taking app that doesn’t depend on wifi. Apple, free the iPod Touch.Comments (View)
